The Elyria CLW workshop is Lorain County’s most comprehensive choice for day habilitation and vocational services. We serve adults, 18 and older, with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are setting a new standard in the industry and will not settle for the status quo. We provide a safe, therapeutic and well-structured working and learning environment for the people we serve. Our staff to client ratio is 1:6; unheard of in this field! This low ratio allows us an un-paralleled level of individualized attention and care to each and every one of our clients. Our staff fill the day with enriching, engrossing, exciting activities and experiences.

We learn and work and play surrounded by the support that allows each person to push their skills farther than they imagined possible. Our program emphasizes a balance between learning, working, participating and observing; isn’t that what we all want in a healthy life? So you can work in the morning, and learn about Hawaii in the afternoon. Or, disco dance in the morning to exercise and package cotton swabs in the afternoon. Maybe a trip to see a dress rehearsal of the Nutcracker at LCCC! The Elyria CLW accepts clients from all settings: ICFMR, Group Homes, and Waiver Homes, the ODJFS waiver or private payment.
