CLW Geneva 1 is located in Geneva, Ohio. We serve a variety of individuals ranging from mild to profound developmental disabilities. Our workshop is large, colorful, and bright. Services that we provide are vocational training, continuous active treatment, and transportation to and from our facility.

The emphasis at this particular location primarily focuses on engaging our individuals in activities that assist them in enhancing their fine motor skills in a creative fashion.   This location has an arts and crafts room that is open to all clients to be as creative as they want to be. We have a sensory room that provides a calming space for all. We encourage all of our individuals to live a healthy lifestyle therefore, our recreational room is a perfect space to engage the individuals we serve in a fun, interactive game, or exercise activity. Our education room is a great space to keep our individuals in tune with current events and where our staff can assist them in building pre-vocational skills. Some of these skills include: sorting or counting objects, refreshing them on their writing and money skills, and color recognition.

At Geneva 1, we offer our individuals an opportunity to continue skill building in a vocational area where each individual can participate in a paid training task.  Some of these tasks include: hand over hand assistance of repackaging items with the assistance of counting the product, heat sealing completed packaged product, and assembly of materials. All of the services provided at the Geneva 1 location are best created under one roof while working together as a team; which creates success for all that we serve!!
