The Job Coach is responsible for evaluating clients, performing job coaching activities per established goals, and ensuring proper placement in employment in which the client can be successful in their work.  Also creating a healthy and safe environment for clients w/developmental disabilities while assisting in the planning and implementation of programs, providing physical assistance to clients, and working to help clients obtain an optimal level of independence.  Performing client and employer follow up and follow-along services as necessary for each client.  Job Coaching experience is preferred.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma/GED required

CLW (Creative Learning Workshop) is actively seeking an experienced Supervisor for our Newbury, OH location. This position is M-F, day shift. The successful candidate for the Supervisor position will have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, health care, social services, or day habilitation services and supervisory/managing experience.


Supervisors assist the Administrator with overseeing the daily operation of the workshop and creating a healthy and safe environment for clients. The Supervisor’s primary duty will be to assist the Administrator with various functions of the workshop, as assigned. The Supervisor will also act in the place of the Administrator when the Administrator is not present.

Requirements:

  • ​Prior experience working with individuals w/ developmental disabilities in the areas of occupational and social skills
  • Prior experience developing and executing behavior plans and other programs
  • Dealing appropriately and effectively with clients and staff
  • Effective communication (both written and verbal) and comprehension
  • Relevant management experience

CLW provides day habilitation and vocational services to adults with Developmental Disabilities in a workshop setting, and is hiring for a FULL TIME LPN in our Newbury, OH and New Paris, OH locations.  This position is day shift only, no weekends, and no on-call.

As an LPN, you will be accountable to oversee the daily medical distribution for the workshop, along with various nursing duties and will be specifically responsible for the development, implementation, and facilitation of medical care to the clients.

Requirements:

  • Must have a min. 2 yrs exp working w/ individuals with developmental disabilities, possess a High School Diploma or GED and have a valid Ohio nursing license.
  • Candidate must pass background checks and a drug screen to obtain employment.
