Supervisor

CLW provides services to adults with developmental disabilities in a workshop setting and is seeking an Supervisor in our Lucasville, OH location (F/T, M-F day shift, no weekends and no on call). The Supervisor’s primary duty will be to assist the Administrator with various functions of the workshop, as assigned. The Supervisor will also act in the place of the Administrator when the Administrator is not present. 

Essential Functions: 
The Administrator will assign various duties to the Supervisor. The Supervisor will support the Administrator in some or all of the duties of the Administrator. 

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in the areas of occupational and social skills.

  • Prior experience developing and executing behavior plans and other programs.

  • Dealing appropriately and effectively with clients and staff.

  • Effective communication (both written and verbal) and comprehension.

  • Relevant management experience.

  • Candidate must pass background checks and a drug screen to obtain employment. Also, a valid drivers license required (meaning no license suspensions w/in the past 5 years and no more than 6 pts.).

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and at least two years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, health care, social services, or day habilitation services.

The Administrator is responsible for the overall daily operations of workshop, including clients and staff.

Successful candidate MUST HAVE A BACHELOR'S DEGREE in Health/Human Services or related field from accredited institution AND at least 2 yrs. exp. in DD, healthcare, social services, or day hab. services. Prior exp. working w/DD individuals in areas of occupational/social skills, developing/executing behavior plans & other programs, dealing appropriately/effectively w/clients & staff, effective communication/comprehension, & relevant management exp. is required.

Candidates must also:

  • Be 21 years of age or older
  • Have Proof of insurance
  • Have a valid drivers license required (meaning no license suspensions w/in the past 5 years and no more than 6 pts.)
  • Be able to pass background requirements
  • Be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug testing and other Ohio Registry checks

CLW provides day habilitation and vocational services to adults with Developmental Disabilities in a workshop setting.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals for full-time day shift positions (Mon-Fri) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities, focusing on quality care and daily activities, day hab and vocational services.  As an Active Treatment Associate, you will be responsible for working with a team to ensure the health & safety of the clients with developmental disabilities.
